Bunnings BBQ Fundraiser Sunday 23rd July 2017

Hi Junior Tigers ,

On Sunday 23rd July we are having a Tigers fundraiser at Bunnings Kotara (8.30am – 4.00pm).  The BBQ earlier in the year was run by the senior players and this one is up to the Juniors.  So come on Junior parents let see if we can do better then the seniors in sales by volunteering a bit of your time to help out. We need volunteers to help cook, sell, laugh and clean on the day.

There are 5 different 1.5 hour time slots available and we have allocated slots to different teams.  Of course it will be fine if you can only help in a different timeslot than that allocated.

8.30am – 10.00am = C/D Grade boys (4 people)

10.00am – 11.30am = C/D Grade Girls (4-5 people)

11.30am – 1.00pm = Kanga/Joey Moddies (6 people)

1.00pm – 2.30pm = A Grade Boys – both Teams (5-6 people)

2.30pm – 4pm = A/B Grade Girls (4 people)

Please let me know ASAP if you are available to help in one of the slots. Howie’s Mobile: 0422652696

Note: kids are not allowed into the bbq area at Bunnings due to OHS reasons.

I hope to hear from you

U12 School Holiday Clinics

Hockey NSW will once more be running our highly successful Under 12 Development Clinics during the July school holidays.

The Newcastle U12s Clinic will be held on Tuesday 11th of July 10am-3pm.

Targeted at players of all abilities, including those that have never picked up a stick before, it’s a fun, active and educational way to keep kids entertained and playing hockey during the school holidays. They’ll develop their core skills guided by Hockey NSW accredited coaches in programs that take course over a single day using our revolutionary new Joey Ball from Kookaburra.

The clinics start from $47 (turf fees may vary prices) and registration is completed online. I have provided the link below to make the registration process easier.
